The Portuguese bus and chassis manufacturer CaetanoBus, a company with a long-standing focus on electric mobility, has raised $9.0M. Known for its consolidated offer in vehicles for cities and airports, CaetanoBus is also the maker of COBUS, the world’s market leader in airport bus transportation.
Part of Toyota Caetano Portugal and Mitsui & Co, CaetanoBus has been developing unique, customer-oriented mobility solutions since 1980. Its strategic alliance with Toyota Motor Europe deepened in 2020, and since 2021, its zero-emissions e.City Gold and hydrogen-powered H2.City Gold buses have carried the Toyota brand through co-branding.
