A $5.7M pre-seed round has just closed for Benford, a startup aiming to redefine the audit firm model by becoming the auditor itself, rather than selling software to existing ones. The capital infusion comes from investors including FirstMinute Capital, Global Founders Capital, and Sondo.
Registered in Norway with teams in London and Oslo, Benford operates as a tech-native audit firm, holding the necessary licenses and employing auditors who leverage its proprietary AuditOS engine. This platform runs statutory audits end-to-end, from a company's systems to the final signed opinion, and is already in use with clients.
