A platform born from UC Berkeley research, Arena, has secured $200.0M in Series B funding, signaling strong investor confidence in its community-driven approach to advancing AI. The capital raise comes as tens of millions of builders, researchers, and creative professionals already flock to Arena to interact with frontier models and provide feedback, shaping a public leaderboard grounded in real-world use.
The round drew a diverse group of backers, including Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Salesforce, 01 Advisors, Dell Technologies, Endeavor Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, Felicis, and AMP PBC. Arena, formerly LMArena, provides a critical feedback loop for AI development, measuring and advancing the frontier of the technology for practical applications.
