Aíma has raised $2.4M in seed funding to push its liquid biopsy tests for minimal residual disease and early cancer detection closer to clinical use. The round drew a mix of individual investors - including Cyrille Fleury, Benoit Lemaignan, Marc Aeschlimann, Pascale Witz, Spike Willcocks, Gilles Polo and Valérie Pierrard - alongside Bpifrance, Crédit Agricole Sud Rhône Alpes and Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône Alpes.
The company's platform pairs whole-genome methylation and fragmentomics analysis with AI and ultra-sensitive sequencing to detect cancer DNA and trace it back to its tissue of origin. Aíma says it works with leading clinical centers on the goal of faster, more accurate and more accessible cancer diagnostics.
