Acodyne, the startup building the world’s fastest unmanned eVTOL aircraft for heavy payloads, has secured $2.9M in pre-seed funding. The capital will advance its ambitious goal of revolutionizing middle-mile logistics, particularly for hard-to-reach missions in both civil and defence sectors.
The company's E200 model boasts a unique ducted fan motor and fixed wing system, enabling it to carry 200 kg at 450 km/h for 75 minutes on a single charge. This capability promises to make supply deliveries 10x cheaper than by helicopter and often 10x faster than by land. Gungnir Capital, PSV Hafnium, EIFO, SAP9 Group, and GreenUP IV Invest participated in the round.
