Flavii Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing epigenetic therapies for central nervous system (CNS) disorders, has closed a $1.1M pre-seed funding round. The capital infusion will support its mission to offer new hope to patients and families affected by conditions like Alzheimer's and Huntington's, which currently lack curative treatment options.
The investment saw participation from Grow Venture Partners, ICF - Institut Català de Finances, and WA4STEAM. Flavii's lead program, FLAV-27, is a first-in-class small molecule that has demonstrated neuroprotection and improved cognitive and motor functions in preclinical studies, with the company now aiming to advance it towards clinical trials.
