European email security startup xorlab has raised $5.8M in a Series A round, a bet that its behavioral AI can catch what Microsoft 365 and on-premises filters routinely miss. The funding comes from Spicehaus Partners, Grapha Holding, EquityPitcher Ventures, and ZKB Start-up Finance.
The Zurich-based company targets complex, highly regulated environments-counting Julius Bär, University Hospital Zurich, and CERN among its customers-with a platform that learns across its entire customer base while keeping each organization's data private. Deployable on-premises, hybrid, or in EU-based cloud data centers, xorlab is built to meet DORA, NIS2, and GDPR compliance demands, positioning it as a proactive alternative to reactive threat defense for critical infrastructure.
