First Work has raised $15.0M in Series A funding, with Earlybird Venture Capital backing the round.
The Ontario-based organization runs a workforce development network and association group for Employment Service Providers, representing more than 100 members who serve jobseekers across the province, particularly youth and newcomers.
Firstwork, a New York applied AI company, has raised a $15m Series A led by Earlybird Venture Capital, taking its total funding to $20m. Its AI agents sit on top of existing HR, payroll and screening systems to handle right-to-work and background checks, documents and training for frontline hires.
The company says more than 150,000 workers a month now start through its platform, and that customers have cut time spent on each new hire by up to 90 per cent.
