Workweek has raised $17.0M in a Series B round, with Next Coast Ventures and Aperiam Ventures leading the charge. The company is building what it describes as the next generation of professional networks-a LinkedIn-style platform tailored to specific professions, where users are verified and conversations skew practical rather than performative.
The pitch is that professionals get a space to trade insights with peers who actually speak their language, anchored by a roster of niche creators like Go-to-Millions’ Ari Murray, Hospitalogy’s Blake Madden, and Fintech Takes’ Alex Johnson. The funding signals growing appetite for vertical, community-driven alternatives to the broad social graph, though Workweek will need to prove it can scale beyond its creator-led niches.
