Farmers looking to cut costs and environmental impact while growing healthier crops just got a boost, as precision farming startup Vultus announced it has raised $1.1M in seed funding. The company uses satellite technology to provide detailed nitrogen recommendations, aiming to combat over-fertilization globally.
Vultus's system analyzes specific nutrient needs in fields, enabling farmers to potentially save up to a third on fertilizer usage. This approach not only improves profitability for operations of all sizes, from small plots to industrial scales, but also drastically reduces agricultural waste.
