Vitroscope AS has raised $7.0M in seed funding to build out its platforms for ex vivo tissue culture and vascularised organoid perfusion. The round drew backing from Cerberus Ventures, YZR Capital, Arcas Ventures, Golden Egg Check, Devico Invest, the Research Council of Norway, and angels Carles Reina, Fàtima Godall, and Oskari Pétas.
The Norwegian life science company's integrated system is designed to maintain controlled flow and dynamic culture conditions, preserving native tissue microenvironments so researchers can study immune activity, drug effects, and disease mechanisms in real time. Its broader aim is to make living human tissue available for research.
