The global transition to net zero just received a substantial financial commitment. Virescent Ventures, a specialist climate tech transition fund, has secured $200.0M in new capital.
The firm, which invests in the founders and technology at the heart of this global shift, was established in 2022, emerging from the Clean Energy Innovation Fund, part of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. Virescent Ventures targets investments across deep tech, business model innovations, software, and hardware, backing companies from pre-seed to late-stage growth.
