Cardiovascular disease kills more people than anything else, yet the tools to catch it early have barely changed in decades. Vexev, a startup building next-generation medical imaging to spot vascular disease before it turns fatal, has raised $6.0M in seed funding to change that.
The round is backed by a syndicate that spans geographies and stages, including Blackbird Ventures, Neotribe Ventures, Startmate, Horizon, TEN13, Bioshore Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. Vexev’s team-a mix of technologists, clinicians, and researchers-is betting that a proactive approach to imaging can shift the paradigm from treating heart attacks to preventing them. The capital gives them runway to push that vision closer to clinical reality.
