The vision of an orbital economy, where critical products are manufactured in space, just received a significant financial endorsement. Varda Space Industries, a company building the infrastructure for this extraterrestrial industry, has secured $251.0M in Series d funding.
Varda's mission centers on in-orbit pharmaceutical processing and developing economical reentry capsules, enabling the production of items like life-saving drugs and advanced fiber optic cables that can only be effectively made beyond Earth's atmosphere. This latest capital injection will fuel their efforts to expand the economic bounds of humankind.
