A Tel Aviv-based semiconductor firm pushing the boundaries of high-speed connectivity, Valens Semiconductor, has closed a $60.0M Series d funding round. The company, founded in 2006, provides solutions for long-reach video and data transmission across professional audio-visual and automotive industries.
Valens is behind the Emmy® award-winning HDBaseT technology, a leading standard in the professional AV market. Its automotive chipsets are also key enablers for autonomous driving, connecting in-vehicle sensors and cameras, with the underlying technology selected to become the basis for a new international standard for automotive connectivity.
