TurnUp Activism, the non-profit behind a mobile app designed to organize young progressive activists, has secured $2.3M in Seed funding. The investment, from Newion and RDY.VC Ventures, signals support for the organization's mission to build a powerful grassroots network among young people.
In 2020, TurnUp demonstrated significant reach, connecting 17,000 young activists through its app and reaching 36 million young voters nationally with election information. The organization, which includes 300 youth organizers, also trained 1,600 activists, contributing to a more than 10-point increase in youth turnout.
