We are thrilled to announce that Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has successfully raised $4,880,000,000 in its latest funding round—a remarkable milestone that will further fuel its mission to protect children and communities worldwide. As a pioneering public-private partnership, Gavi has been at the forefront of global immunization efforts since its inception in 2000. This landmark fundraising achievement not only underscores the trust and commitment of our partners and investors but also amplifies our shared vision to safeguard future generations from deadly diseases.

Since its establishment, Gavi has helped immunize over one billion children and has been instrumental in preventing more than 17.3 million potential future deaths. The organization’s relentless efforts have led to a dramatic reduction in child mortality across 78 lower-income countries, affirming the critical role that vaccination plays in global health security and social development. The influx of nearly $5 billion will be strategically invested in expanding vaccine access and strengthening health systems in regions that bear the heaviest burden of preventable diseases.

This new round of funding will enable Gavi to accelerate the delivery of life-saving vaccines, enhance its research and development initiatives, and build resilient healthcare infrastructures capable of responding to emerging health challenges. Each dollar secured in this funding drive is a vote of confidence in our approach and a pledge to improve the lives of millions. We remain steadfast in our commitment to equity in healthcare and look forward to partnering with global stakeholders as we continue to pave the way towards a world where every child—regardless of where they are born—has the opportunity to thrive free from the threat of vaccine-preventable diseases.
