Linköping-based TekSiC, a company rooted in Linköping University and local industries, has secured $1.6M in seed funding to advance its silicon carbide technology. The capital will support its work in developing SiC epitaxy and bringing its specialized furnaces for crystal growth to market.
TekSiC's offerings extend to providing SiC substrates as a service, utilizing its SiC-Sub furnace. The company also offers high-quality engineering and project management consulting, serving a diverse clientele that includes semiconductor device manufacturers and firms in the power electronics, automotive, and aerospace sectors.
