The SWELL Sculpture Festival, a cornerstone of the Gold Coast's arts scene, has secured a $5K grant from Currumbin RSL. This funding marks a new investment in the multifaceted arts organisation, which has been connecting people, art, and place in Currumbin, Queensland, since its inception in 2003.

Based in Currumbin, SWELL has cultivated a significant presence on Currumbin Beach, where its main exhibition has showcased 873 sculptures over the years. The festival's impressive portfolio of exhibited works is valued at $15.5M.

We were proud to host our Community Grants Award Night for Round One, where we had the honour of presenting grants to 14 incredible local community groups and schools across the Southern Gold Coast. At Currumbin RSL, our vision is to be the heart of our community.

Our Community Grants Program is one of the most meaningful ways we live out that vision, providing financial support to not-for-profit organisations delivering projects and initiatives that create genuine, lasting community benefit.
