Strong by Form has raised $6.6M in a Series A round, backed by a consortium that includes Boisei Investments, Teampact, Ternel, Axel Carbon Capital, VX Ventures, VINCI, and CMPC.
The startup is developing technology aimed at replacing steel and concrete with ultra-light, timber-based bio-composites. Its first product, Woodflow, targets industries like construction and mobility, where weight and sustainability are increasingly pressing concerns. The investor list-spanning venture firms and industrial players like VINCI and CMPC-suggests the round is as much about strategic partnerships as it is about capital.
