Sprout Family has raised $3.5M in seed funding to expand its digital health platform for fertility and family-building. The round was backed by BDC's Thrive Venture Fund, Accelia Capital, MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, StandUp Ventures, and The51.
The Toronto-based company offers employers a benefits platform covering the full family-building journey, from preconception and fertility care through adoption and surrogacy, combining virtual care, expert guidance, and financial coverage. It's a rare Canadian entry in a category dominated by U.S. players, and the investor list is notably female-led.
