Sophiie AI has raised $5.0M in a seed round, a bet that service businesses are ready to hand off their front-office chaos to an AI assistant. The round was backed by Archangel Ventures, Admiralty Capital Group, Antler, Gandel Invest, and Aussie Angels.
The Melbourne-based startup sells itself as a job-management copilot for trades and other service firms, fielding calls, texts, and quotes while logging transcripts and summaries in a single dashboard. The pitch is straightforward: fewer missed calls, less admin scut work. With fresh capital in hand, the company is now positioned to push deeper into a crowded but fragmented market where incumbents have long relied on clunky software.
