A $63.0M Series C round has landed for SKAN, the Swiss maker of isolators and cleanroom equipment used in the aseptic production of biopharmaceuticals. The funding brings in a notably broad set of backers, including Cathay Innovation, Dell Technologies Capital, Citi Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, State Farm Ventures, and Wipro Ventures.
SKAN’s core business is designing process isolators for aseptic filling, a niche where regulatory hurdles and technical complexity create high barriers to entry. The company also provides decontamination processes, services, and consumables, with its strongest markets in Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. Its edge comes from combining ventilation, sterilization, and pharma-compliant software expertise, built through long relationships with blue-chip drugmakers and research labs. The new capital arrives as demand for sterile manufacturing capacity remains a critical pressure point across the industry.
