The competitive landscape for high-performance data infrastructure just saw a new infusion of capital, as simplyblock announced it has raised $2.8M in Seed funding. The startup specializes in NVMe/TCP software-defined storage for Kubernetes and demanding applications like databases, AI, and streaming services.
This approach aims to deliver ultra-low latency and high throughput by leveraging open standards such as NVMe-oF and SPDK, allowing deployment across any cloud or hardware. Simplyblock focuses on maximizing performance and resource utilization for mission-critical workloads, and its development has also been co-funded by the European Union.
