ShipIn Systems has closed a $52.0M Series B round, betting that its AI-powered camera platform can make maritime fleets safer and more efficient. The company’s FleetVision™ system streams real-time visual analytics from onboard cameras to shore-based teams, flagging anomalies like equipment misuse or safety hazards before they escalate into incidents.
The funding arrives as shipping operators face mounting pressure to cut accident rates and squeeze more throughput from port calls. ShipIn says its platform has already reduced onboard incidents by 40% and lifted cargo operations efficiency by 8% for clients, though the company didn’t disclose which investors led or joined the round. The fresh capital will likely fuel expansion of its ship-to-shore collaboration tools, but specifics on deployment plans weren’t shared.
