Rozenama has pulled in $150K in pre-seed funding, a modest but telling bet on a corner of e-commerce most global investors overlook. The Iraqi startup, built for merchants who currently run their shops through Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, is replacing the chaos of notebooks and chat threads with a single Arabic-language dashboard.
The platform handles everything from branded storefronts to order tracking, inventory, local delivery integrations, and payment gateways-no technical background required. It’s already a going concern: more than 1,000 paying merchants and over 7,000 users rely on it, with support and onboarding run out of Baghdad. The capital, while small, signals early conviction in a market where commerce infrastructure is still being written from scratch.
