Rio Health has raised $4.5M in pre-Series A funding to expand its quick-commerce pharmacy, which promises medicine delivery in minutes across Noida and Delhi NCR. The round was backed by Version One Ventures, Xeed Ventures, Good Capital, and Amplify.
The company fills prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medication, personal care, babycare, nutraceuticals, and ayurvedic products, targeting what it calls small emergencies - a parent out of fever syrup at 11pm, someone who has run out of blood pressure medication before a trip. Rio Health says it is hiring across operations, supply chain, technology, pharmacy, and last-mile delivery.
