The world’s first AI-native authorized audit firm has pulled in $9.6M in pre-seed funding, a bet that statutory audits can be both faster and cheaper without ceding final judgment to machines. Repodo, which pairs licensed auditors with AI to handle the full audit process, announced the round backed by Hedosophia and Seed Capital.
The pitch is straightforward: keep humans responsible for oversight and sign-off while letting software do the heavy lifting. That positioning-AI as a tool, not a replacement-could resonate with regulators and clients alike, though the firm will still need to prove its model holds up under scrutiny.
