With approximately 700,000 people in the United States living with the life-altering impact of alopecia areata and limited treatment options, the need for innovative therapies is clear. Clinical stage biotechnology company Q32 Bio Inc., which is developing such treatments, has now raised $55.0M.
The capital will advance its work on bempikibart (ADX-914), a fully human anti-IL-7Rα antibody in a Phase 2 program. Q32 Bio's science targets potent regulators of the adaptive immune system to re-balance immunity, aiming to address this significant unmet medical need in alopecia areata and other autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
