As enterprises increasingly deploy AI agents across critical workflows, the challenge of ensuring their trustworthiness has become paramount. Prefactor, a startup building a "trust layer" for these autonomous systems, has secured $150K in pre-seed funding.
The company aims to provide a single, comprehensive view of an organization's AI agent estate, helping engineering, AI, security, and governance teams understand agent capabilities, identify risks, and enforce policies. Prefactor specifically targets regulated enterprises, enabling them to confidently move AI agents from proof of concept to production by tackling the core problem: deploying agents is easy, trusting them is hard.
