Physicl has raised $10.0M in seed funding from Inovia Capital to build what it calls the data layer for physical AI. The company's premise is straightforward: every robot, vision model and world model is limited by the worlds it has seen, and Physicl lets teams generate the rest.
Its first product, Physicl Studio, has researchers describe what their model gets wrong - including rare edge cases - and returns thousands of images and videos with objects, lighting, layout, clutter and camera trajectories varied at will. Every frame comes with depth, segmentation, bounding boxes and camera pose, all rendered from physically accurate 3D worlds built on a library of 100K+ assets and 10K+ environments. Physicl works with teams building computer vision, world models and robotics, from frontier labs to university groups.
