The burgeoning satellite constellation market just got another boost, as Hawthorne, California-based Phase Four announced it has closed a $26.0M Series B funding round. The company is focused on solving one of the most persistent and costly problems for satellite operators: the propulsion system.
Phase Four's technology aims to enable the exponential growth of these constellations by eliminating common failure points found in legacy systems, such as electrodes and complex fabrication. Its redesigned thrusters offer reliable, high-performance Hall Effect Thruster capabilities with nearly double the lifespan and a significantly faster delivery timeline, all at a fraction of the traditional price.
