Percheron Therapeutics Limited has raised $2.3M, a capital injection that gives the ASX-listed biotech room to push its lead cancer drug candidate toward the next stage of testing. The company, which trades on both the Australian Securities Exchange and the US OTC market, is focused on developing novel therapies for oncology and rare diseases.
The funds arrive as Percheron鈥檚 lead program, HMBD-002, a monoclonal antibody targeting the immune checkpoint regulator VISTA, has wrapped up a phase I trial in patients with advanced cancer. That study showed the drug to be generally safe and well-tolerated, and the company now aims to launch further clinical trials in CY2026. The fresh capital helps bridge the gap to that next milestone, though the company has not disclosed the specific investors or the structure of the round.
