Australian businesses that want to earn frequent-flyer points on their tax bills just got a bigger backer. pay.com.au has raised $39.0M in a Series E round, adding fresh capital to the payments platform that lets companies link bank accounts and rewards credit cards to cover expenses like payroll, superannuation, and BAS.
Since launching in 2019, the company has built a niche by turning mundane business payments into a points-earning exercise, with its PayRewards program offering redemptions ranging from luxury goods to airline transfers. The new funding arrives as pay.com.au positions itself among Australia’s faster-growing payments players, though specifics on how the capital will be deployed were not disclosed.
