The vision of "Edge Cell Towers in Space" has attracted fresh capital for Bengaluru-based OXG Space, which recently raised $1.8M from investors. The company is developing shared orbital infrastructure designed to enable satellites to connect, compute, and collaborate in orbit, thereby reducing latency and improving responsiveness for various space missions.
This funding round saw participation from AUM Ventures, Pawan Kumar Chandana, Bharath Daka, and Dr Chiran Phanindra. OXG Space's platform is built to support Earth observation, defense, commercial space, and future autonomous satellite operations, creating foundational infrastructure for the next generation of the space economy.
