Outer Spaces, a startup building a new category of residential living that transforms backyards into beautiful, energy-generating spaces, has raised $8.0M in pre-seed funding. The company's vision centers on leveraging underutilized land and sunlight to create more outdoor living areas while simultaneously capturing clean energy.
The substantial pre-seed round saw participation from Upfront Ventures, Unlock Venture Partners, Mucker Capital, and Genius Ventures. Outer Spaces aims to challenge traditional notions of home boundaries, bringing together designers, engineers, builders, and operators to redefine residential energy with an emphasis on aesthetics and sustainability.
