Odyssey Energy Solutions has raised $74.0M in a Series B round, a vote of confidence in its bid to speed up how money flows into distributed solar projects.
The company runs a technology platform that connects solar developers with financiers, handling everything from origination and due diligence to credit underwriting, procurement, and ongoing asset management. For financiers, the pitch is lower cost and faster deal velocity; for solar companies, it’s easier access to capital across the stack-including short-term credit embedded in the procurement side to ease working capital crunches for EPCs and developers. The fresh capital should help Odyssey push further into a market where the bottleneck is often less about project viability and more about the friction of getting deals financed.
