London-based Occam Industries, which specializes in integrating advanced software and computer vision into existing drone and UAV platforms, has secured $4.3M in new investment. The capital infusion will further its mission to unlock expanded capabilities for mass-manufactured drones without altering airframes or supply chains.
The funding round drew participation from a notable group of investors, including North Ventures, Sparkmind Capital, Grenadyr, Antler, Tech Horizons, T|Y|R.vc, and Freedom Fund VC. Occam's technology reduces the requirement for continuous manual control and lowers the barrier for operator skill by providing bounded, functional autonomy.
