The daunting $5 trillion global shift from diesel to electric fleets by 2040 just got a boost, as NexDash announced it has closed a $2.9M Series A round. The company, which is developing autonomous, zero-emission freight infrastructure orchestrated by AI and robotics, received the investment from EIT Urban Mobility.
NexDash aims to tackle the fragmented and undercapitalized market currently struggling to meet regulatory demands for this massive transition. Its solution involves building what it calls the world’s most advanced freight infrastructure, integrating embedded capital to facilitate the transition.
