The company develops lead-cooled fast reactors paired with fuel made from recycled nuclear materials, aiming to close the nuclear fuel cycle while delivering clean, reliable electricity and heat at competitive costs. newcleo employs more than 900 people across Europe and the United States, covering reactor and fuel design, engineering, and manufacturing, and is building out a vertically integrated supply chain and a network of strategic partnerships to move its technology from proven science toward deployable assets.
