The pursuit of new treatments for neurodegenerative diseases has received a substantial injection of capital, with clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Neurimmune AG announcing it has raised $125.0M. The funding will accelerate its development of next-generation antibody therapeutics.
Neurimmune is pioneering amyloid depletion as a novel therapeutic mechanism. This approach targets CNS and related protein aggregation diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and ATTR cardiomyopathy.
