Neural Galaxy, a global brain science company, has secured $75.0 million in its latest funding round. This investment brings the total capital raised by the startup to approximately $100 million, following its $6.2 million Angel round and over $15 million Pre-A round financing. Founded in July 2019 by Professor Hesheng Liu of Harvard Medical School, Guoping Feng and Robert Desimone at MIT, and Mr. Coach Wei, Neural Galaxy is dedicated to solving brain disorders through advanced neuroscience.

The company has developed innovative technologies aimed at addressing complex neurological challenges. Its "personalized Brain Functional Sectors" (pBFS) technology is the first to reliably and accurately map over 200 functional parcellations of an individual brain. Building on this, Neural Galaxy released the "Personalized Brain Computing Platform" in 2020, which allows medical professionals to investigate individual-level brain functional issues by observing neural circuits and networks clinically.

Neural Galaxy's innovative POINT therapy utilizes a non-invasive "brain-computer interaction" approach to read, decode, and write brain signals, enabling precise intervention for brain disorders at an individual level. Clinical trials conducted with several top-tier hospitals have shown positive treatment outcomes in major brain diseases such as Depression, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Autism, and Aphasia.

This significant capital infusion is expected to support Neural Galaxy's continued research and development efforts, further advancing its proprietary technologies and expanding its clinical applications. The company plans to use the funds for growth initiatives, including scaling its platforms and therapies to reach more patients globally. Neural Galaxy aims to solidify its position as a leader in brain science, driving further innovation in the treatment of neurological conditions.
