Multiplier has raised $35.0M in a Series B round, a fresh infusion of capital for the startup that builds the back-office plumbing for companies hiring across borders. The round was backed by The General Partnership, Ribbit Capital, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The company operates what it calls a "Global Exchange for Work," offering Employer of Record, Contractor of Record, and global payroll services across more than 160 countries. Founded in 2020, Multiplier says it has processed over $2 billion in cross-border wages for 2,700-plus companies, positioning itself as a one-stop shop for the logistical headaches of a distributed workforce.
