Moodle, the company behind the world’s most customizable and trusted online learning solution, has secured $1.4M in seed funding from undisclosed investors. The capital injection will support the open-source learning management system (LMS) provider, which is used by hundreds of millions of learners worldwide.
Beyond its core Moodle LMS, the company’s ecosystem includes Moodle Workplace, Moodle Apps, and a network of Certified Service Providers offering expertise in hosting, customisations, support, and training. Moodle also educates its community through Moodle Academy and plans to launch MoodleNet, a platform for sharing open educational resources, all part of its mission to empower educators globally.
