Mokobara has raised $9.5M in a Series C round, with backing from Sauce VC, Peak XV Partners, Niveshaay Sambhav, and Ayra Ventures. The luggage brand, which styles itself as the creator of "most identified flying objects," is leaning into a design-forward identity that it insists goes beyond the typical suitcase maker.
The company describes its products as built to stand out, with refined palettes and a focus on making travel gear feel less utilitarian and more expressive. The fresh capital arrives as Mokobara continues to carve out a niche in a crowded category, betting that aesthetics-not just durability-can win over frequent flyers.
