Robotics deployment startup microagi has raised $55.5M in seed funding, with Google Cloud as the sole investor. The Munich-based company, founded in 2025, is building a platform called Atlas that fine-tunes AI models on a customerās own operational data, using a proprietary corpus to bridge the gap between a robot that performs well in a demo and one that delivers consistent work on the factory floor.
Atlas is designed to be hardware- and model-agnostic, acting as a neutral layer between a customerās existing infrastructure and frontier AI models-an approach aimed at avoiding lock-in to any single vendor. The company operates a research hub in Zurich and has offices in London and New York.
