MHP, an international food and agri company, has successfully raised $450.0 million in new funding from investors. The company, whose shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange, operates across the agriculture, logistics, food production, and retail sectors. With manufacturing facilities spanning Ukraine and South-Eastern Europe, alongside subsidiaries in the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and other EU countries, MHP is a significant player in the global food market. It employs over 36,000 people in Ukraine and abroad, ranking among Ukraine’s top employers.
MHP is dedicated to producing high-quality healthy food products, developing over 15 food brands including Nasha Ryaba and Apetytna. It stands as the leading poultry producer in Europe and is among the top 10 worldwide. Amid the full-scale war, MHP considers it its mission to support Ukraine’s economy and ensure food security, operating retail stores and food outlets across the country. The company is recognized as the largest single taxpayer in Ukraine’s agricultural sector and was named one of the country’s top investors in 2024.
This substantial capital infusion underscores investor confidence in MHP's resilient business model and its strategic importance in the food supply chain. The $450.0 million secured will be directed towards strengthening MHP's financial position, supporting its ongoing growth initiatives, and enhancing operational capabilities across its diverse segments.
