The metals inside industrial wastewater are worth more than the water itself-at least that鈥檚 the bet Metal Morph is making. The London-based startup has raised $944K in pre-seed funding, backed by Sustainable Ventures, Green Angel Ventures, Aqcelerator, and Found Capital.
Metal Morph treats water treatment plants as urban mines, pulling critical metals and chemicals from waste streams and feeding them back into supply chains. The company claims its process cuts carbon emissions by 89%, recovers 90% of target materials, and trims costs by 26%-a pitch that鈥檚 clearly resonating with investors focused on resource security and decarbonization.
