Lupin Dental has raised $17.5M in a Series A round, backing its push to bring robotic precision to aesthetic dentistry. The French deep-tech company, founded in 2019 by Dr. Stéfen Koubi and Dr. Galip Gurel, has built a robotic platform paired with modular software that aims to let dentists at any skill level perform complex treatments typically reserved for top specialists.
The company describes its system as a digital embodiment of its founders' expertise, blending their clinical knowledge into a tool that standardizes high-end procedures. With a team of 43 and a deep-tech label from BPI France, Lupin is targeting a shift in both clinical outcomes and the economics of aesthetic dental care. The fresh capital will help advance a technology that's still awaiting clearance from health regulatory bodies.
