Lunar Outpost, a company with five rovers headed to the Moon and ambitions to create oxygen on Mars, has secured $30.0M in Series b funding from Industrious Ventures. The capital will advance its work in commercial space robotics and lunar surface mobility, aiming to enable an extended human presence in space and harness its resources for Earth.
The company is developing systems like its Mobile Autonomous Prospecting Platform (MAPP) rover and truck-sized industrial Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) to serve the New Space economy. Lunar Outpost also leads the Lunar Dawn team, a consortium with General Motors, Goodyear, and MDA Space, focused on providing critical mobility for Artemis astronauts.
